Piz Puls 2026 - Art Exchibition and Cultural Hub

PIZ PULS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY EXHIBITION IN ST. MORITZ CREATED BY DIEGO AND ALEXEJA ART & DESIGN STUDIO

MONDO GALERIA presents Piz Puls, a multidisciplinary exhibition and cultural hub in St. Moritz during February 2026.

This is the second edition of this Art festival which brings together local and international artists with the community of the Engadine Valley.
After a well received first edition in past February 2025, the curatorial tandem Alexeja Pozzoni and Diego Alonso from Diego and Alexeja Art & Design Studio propose a three weeks program which include Art exhibitions, live music, performances, cultural talks, dance parties, podcast and treks in nature with artists, creators and some other surprise guests.

This year the Leitmotiv that will run throughout the programme will be “nādīs“, a word coming from the Sanskrit to nominate the intricate system of conducts and connections that supplies energy to our body, in a physical as well as in an spiritual way.

The events will start on 6th February and will last till 22nd of the same month, including a multidisciplinary exhibition, video projections, live music, parties with renowned DJs, culinary experiences, radio, bistro, walks in nature and art talks.

All events will happen at Playground Garage, and alternative cultural space in the centre of St. Moritz (GR) Switzerland.

We cannot stop the Time.

Revolution continues…

Inward.

This is the Pulse of our Times (in Romanche – the oldest language of the Engadine valley – PIZ means Peak and PULS means Pulse).

We are trying to create a new reality in which peace and spirituality take an important place, where we could relate to one another with emotional empathy and respect”. A.D.

Nobody can stop the Time.

Das Spinner ballett
Its Geist
Für alle
von niemandem
die zyklischen Tänze
der endlosen Seele.

There are thousands of energy channels that run through our bodies, carrying the life force that sustains, supports, and nourishes our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being. These channels, known as “nāḍĩs”, flow through our body like charged rivers, interconnecting and feeding every cell, thought and chakra within us.

Artists are to society what “nāḍĩs” are to our body.

Artists, with inspiration, transcend the limits of society opening new channels for communication, creativity, knowledge, wit. Disrupting the stability of the established while generating new paradigms to explore the unknown, trying to overcome that fear factor which tends to make knowledge stagnant and destroy fluidity in relationships.

Samuele Alfani "Capitalism"

Samuele Alfani / “Capitalism”  – Oil on canvas – 90 x 60 cm

We navigate throughout society with no other intention than spreading poetry. As an escape conduct from conditioning we laureate the pause where progress looks at itself in the mirror of tradition. Is where we pullulate trying to find a meaning to this existence which we all create together. It Is in the encounter of the sea with the horizon where it flows our intention. It is in the gimmickry of the gods where our dreams begin. Transmigrating until being present here we converged into our fooled flesh and bone sack by sorrow, desperation and loneliness, a profound energy capable to dissipate all worldliness and remove the veil of illusion. Even if sometimes it gets harder to see it, the path, is here, inside.
Outside are other challenges of nature. Exciting experiences to accumulate in the book of memory, rewritten endlessly by the sword of fantasy.

Fear arises from the erroneous idea that the Other is not us, that the other is not an extension of our own being. A reflection of the imaginary shield which we generate together. Instead, without you I am not, as you are not without me.

Margherita Chiarva & Noemi Manser / “Subconscious”  – Mixed Media installation – Varible dimensions

The search is lonely, it requires to take distance from acceptance, to swim against currents, to have perseverance in jumping endlessly into emptiness, into an arid desert of introspection, just for the sake of following a dream, a voice, a message that erupts from the depths of a comfortably unpleasant existence.

When we look at a flame, it tells the same story time after time, while slightly different. Until it gets extinct. Combusting the burning energy is our mission. Our obligation to feed the Pantheon of the natural realm. Hollow sorrow is thrown at us as a test for endurance. Barriers of all sizes are hitting our ankles to see us fall. Barricades of emotion try to block our swing. However, we continue feeding our fire. Our Agni, Helios. Our own Enkidu.

Our being Hiranyagarbha Sukta.

VIkram Kapur / “Bhramanda II”  – Mixed Media on board – 42 x 30 cm

Our dreams are not different from what we are perceiving. We fall into the mirror of representation. Paradise temptation is all what can take us off track on the railway of daily despair. Hypnotised by the glory of history, the urgency of today and the control of an uncertain tomorrow.

Nevertheless we are here, holding this space-time within the tips of our fingers, a bubble on the verge of explosion. Right here in front of all what has been given to us and we don’t know what to do with it. As we try, and try, hoping that one day we can understand something. Or Anything?

Life opens an infinite range of eternal instants. Leaving us bathing into a pool of present while floating inside an atemporal ocean. Karma does not accumulate but passes through us leaving its imprint, creating reality with our actions. It is a miserable experience when you try to drive it. Remembrances of what was not.

Beny Steiner / “Untitled”  – Pigment Print – 70 x 50 cm

What are we here for? We wake, we move, we sleep. We go through emotional alpinism in different forms and fields, and then what? Every state of reality seems to collapse in itself and re-build again into the same wave that has earlier destroyed it. So? We know nothing. We should be mesmerized by the sole fact that we can open our eyes and see… or at least think that we do. Hallucination is what we encounter, once and again under the impression of certain linearity, under the influence of some training that we have obtained to cope with this particular dimension. We submerge ourselves into this conscious matter ignoring or displacing other layers over which we float focusing just on the tip of the iceberg. To remain on the surface? Or just to mirror the depths?

To escape we create legends that become myths. The Minotaur deep inside Greek mythology. Celebrated beast representative of our profoundness. Trapped in his own destiny. In the maze of collective consciousness. What if he was not defeated by Theseus? Perhaps the importance of the intellect would have been subdued by an omnipresent animal instinct expecting nothing but love? Society punished Asterion for his emotional intelligence. Abandoned by his mother, betrayed by his sister and hated by his stepfather, science ended annihilating him making of that voice that comes to us from deep inside just a reflection of our daily experience and not a messenger from a much wider realm of multidimensional knowledge.

When the subconscious is not tamed by reason it flows instinctively as the dance of a Shaman. It is connected to the basic instinct of universal force. It holds and protects our being in harmony with the environment in which we are. Near the light. Into a manifesting realm which is not beside you but within you. It is written as we act, and it influences our actions.

A mandate from God itself. Liber Novus.

Nacho Santos / “Minotauro”  – Mixed Media on canvas – 300 x 100 cm

Ariadna was deceived by the coldness of reason, forgotten simply for not having any further function. She, enlightened thereafter by the glory of immortality.

What if our path is not linear but instead it is a labyrinth with endless turns, unaccountable corners and dwellings from where there is no return? Do we need at all to go back? Has anyone tried to make peace with the monster?

Verrückter Vogel.

Sigmund Freud insisted on making of these annunciations a commodity. The pejorative way in which the “dark” side of the psyche was presented by the science of psychology does not make justice to the importance that it plays in our perception of reality. Our sensorial biological device offers us a very limited experience translated as a synthesis of all the information that we unceasingly receive. As a trick for survival we have learnt to minimise information into a readable quantity that permits us to cope with the vast universe around us. Messages emerge to our presence as a volcano eruption, shooting data into our awareness and shifting our attention into a particular direction, affecting the decisions that guide our actions to create together reality. Peaceful, irreverent, an irreversible path, like the nucleus of a comet burning as it propels.

Oliver Conrad / “Warmonger”  – Mixed Media on paper – 90 x 120 cm

How to describe a vacuum which expands and contracts simultaneously? Which flows to you, through you and from you at once. An emptiness full of particles. A space with no reference, no time. Its luminosity flashing in all directions seemingly without a rule or pattern. Where you are not while you are. All of those infinite dimensions that collide into a given instant of present propulsing us more and more into the unknownness of expanding collective universal experience. Essential revolution in motion.

The way is lonesome. Filled with emptiness. A distant path from the known comfort of companionship, friendship, family, community. Far from any solid structure, any basement. Secluded into an amorphous nebula. Confined to the vastness of its centre. Hollow, neglected, however full and confident. Serene. Unattached, coherent. Convinced that there is no return. No recollection of thread will ride you back since there is no point of reference any longer. There is basically nothing. Just a flame floating through a dark endlessness filled, all over, with shooting stars.

Home is where you are. You are alone. There is nothing to be done. All activity is just entertainment for the beast. As a snake sheds its skin, time shed our moments. We are the channel. Immigrants of desire in this kaleidoscopic creation of our senses. Your smile is not needed if it’s not true. It should explode through your eyes without even having them opened.

The battle between consciousness and subconsciousness will be won by the soul.
