PIZ PULS AN INTERDISCIPLINARY EXHIBITION
MONDO GALERIA presents “PIZ PULS” a multidisciplinary exhibition including art, music, culture, and culinary experiences in St. Moritz. Presented and curated by Diego and Alexeja Art & Design Studio the exhibition will take place at PLAYGROUND GARAGE an alternative space right in the center of the famous ski town.
More than 30 artists of all media present their work into this 9 days happening exploring the ideas of the XXI century with a focus on a revision of the Surrealist Revolution of 100 years ago.
“Time has past and reality has taken such a surreal nature that we need a counter revolution to make sense of the absurdity in which we are living today” writes in their Manifesto the curatorial tandem Alexeja Pozzoni and Diego Alonso.
Painting, photography, cinema, video art, soundscapes, music and culinary art will invade the room in a dynamic program created to not to leave any visitor indifferent. Creators of all these fields united in this exhibition by their independent nature, offer a dialogue into a new vision on the Pulse of our Times (in romanche – the oldest language of the Engadine valley – PIZ means Peak and PULS means Pulse).
“We are trying to create a new reality in which peace and spirituality take an important place, where we could relate to one another with emotional empathy and respect”.
A radio station will be mounted in the location to transmit worldwide from St Moritz 24hs a day during the exhibition. ChAI ShOP GARAGE RADIO will offer a series of interviews, soundscapes and music selection related to the subject of the exhibition. Artists, scientist, scholars and artisans scattered around the world will communicate directly with the room in St. Moritz or will send their playlists and pre-recorded contents for the occasion.
Three parties will be held on the venue during the nine days of the exhibition featuring international DJs from Ibiza, Zurich and Berlin whom will add their sound to the room as well as been transmitted through the online radio signal.

Beny Steiner / “Piz Pizoc 2024” – Pigment Print on Cotton Rug Paper – 120 x 90 cm
A Revolution is necessary to rescue reality from the oneiric world. A century has passed after the Surreal Manifesto and today the magic of the movement has abandoned the Art to be swallowed by the system. Surreal Politics, Surreal industry, Surreal ordinariness. Artists scattered all over the world, working independently bring their forces together to build a counter movement based on their own individuality, their own Pulse, assuming their freedom and responsibility to create an interdividuality where Art is one more time in History the direction to follow.
Revolution is inward.
